949 this afternoon

Anyone know what happened on 949 just northeast of 1094 this afternoon, around 6? I came upon e deputy's cars, they had the road stopped. There was a black sport bike parked on top of the rise but no one around it so I assumed what ever it was it there was a bike involved.

I really would like to know that no one was seriously injured.

Larry, I think you can call the local DPS office, or maybe the Sheriff's office, and give them a time/date and they can give you the basics. They probably won't release names unless next of kin have been notified if there was a death.

Thanks Scott, I will do that. I wouldn't have been too concerned if it wasn't for the sport bike sitting on top of the hill unattended. I got the impression the riders was with his friends and realized something happened in the hollow, left his bike and ran back down. Of course it may be nothing and a rider just though he could lend a helping hand to whatever closed the road. However the 3 Deputies made it look more serious.
