I am considering going to the Big State Music Festival in College Station on the second weekend in Oct. I am looking for a nice campground close to the racetrack. (by close, I mean within 30 min) I will probably pull my pop-up camper behind my Concours. All I really need is a place to pitch my trailer and a hot shower. I know some folks on here live in that area and others frequent the race track. Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance,
Rod

I know camping is available on-site for racing and track day events, so you might want to find out what they might have available for the festival. The infield has plenty of space.

Thanks for the input, they are not allowing onsite camping for this music festival.

Thanks, I checked it out. They have a big mountain bike race that weekend and are booked solid. However Gibbons resevoir, about 20 miles to the east, has plenty of room. Thanks for the input. Problem solved.
