Kid in Laredo dies in wreck

really short article (http://www.lmtonline.com/site/news.cfm?newsid=18845584&BRD=2290&PAG=461&dept_id=569392&rfi=6) about a 19 year old who was riding in a residential area and hit a suburban. A friend of mine was in the ER for a sprained ankle and told me about it at the Harley Yesterday. apparently the bike was unrecongizable. I dont see why parents dont fight their kids on stuff like this. the story I heard was he was on a sport bike. they have no photos yet. just a waste

Sadly just another incidence of (I assume) lack of training and knowledge combined with overconfidence and testosterone. As far as the parents thing, he was 19 and an adult. They may have given him the stink eye and a talking to, but he makes his own decisions.

Update to the story is he lost control, hit a suburban, then the curb, and flew head first into a cider block wall. and according to reports, he was wearing a helmet

R.I.P. I was a complete psycho behind the wheel at 19, I'm glad my parents didn't let me get a bike back then.
