The wife and I ended up riding Hamilton Pool then easing over to Canyon Lake to check out a friend's weekend house. We left there took Fischer Store road then went toward Johnson City and cut off on a county road, 410 I believe. On to 290 then another county road where we were turned around by water.
I will post the route later because it was a beautiful ride. The wife did her first creek crossing on her cruiser and was thrilled by it. Maybe a BMW GS in the future?????? She kept asking about them when we got back.
