18 year-old helmetless sportbiker dies in Odessa

Another fatality that probably could've been prevented. This kid ran into the back of a car that was slowing to turn. According to police, he was hot-dogging in a parking lot of the UTPB campus. No helmet:

"It appears the rider of the motorcycle may have struck his head, at that time receiving serious injuries."

My prayers go out to his family. I see cagers speed through parking lots & I always shake my head .... any second someone can pull out right in front of you.

Or a 3 year old can shoot right out in front of you. I always catch my breath when I see someone speeding in a parking lot. It is just so stupid.
