Hi all

It may be a little too early to think about a weekend ride but, here I am w/ a sever case of PMS (Parked Motorcycle Syndrome) and a longing for that special flower garnished food that is served at the scented garden restaurant in Fredericksburg. :wink:

Was wondering if anybody knows a good route there and if anyone would be interested in going? I'm also thinking of maybe stopping in San Antonio on the way back to have early evening dinner on the River Walk.

So far just a plan.

Hi Vittorio.

A ride to Fredericksburg sounds like fun. I actually have a route in my GPS for this. If you have a Garmin GPS I could sent you the route. If you do not have a GPS I could e-mail you a map of the route. From 290/Jones it will probably be ~260 miles. If I did not already have plans ( and a leaking fork seal :( ) I would grab my fiance and ride out there with you. There is a really neat bed and breakfast called Ab Butlers' Dogtrot in Fredericksburg.

Excellent Scott, thank you for all the good info. Sorry to hear that you won't be able to make it. I'll have to keep an eye on the weather because it seems that as of today, it may turn bad on Saturday. If this does occur, then certainly a ride around Huntsville, per your email, would be nice. You'll have to lead however, since I unfortunately do not have a Garmin GPS and would inevitably get us lost.

That is a different Scott you are replying to ;-) He's Scott Eichhorn and I am Scott Friday. He's offering to send the GPS map, I'm hanging around Huntsville this weekend :-(

Sad to hear that both you (Scott Friday) & Scott (Eichhorn) won't be able to make it. Hope we'll have a chance to ride together again soon.
