I have been needing to get my KLR back up and running again. No... Nothing like that. I am just an idiot when it comes to spooning on a new rear tire and have pinched two tubes already.

Thanks to GOOGLE I found this dealer http://www.motoex.net/ on the north side of Tomball, TX. Which was great as I too am north of Tomball.

Anyway, I called and ordered a new rear tire tube and a couple of spares, as well as a couple of spares for the front one too. This was on Tuesday. When I spoke to the parts guy "Kevin" he tells me that he has 1 front and 1 rear in stock right now, but the rest will be in by Saturday. And he will set them aside with my name on them.

So for today (Saturday) I gave up on an invitation to play 18 holes at Carlton Woods, to instead go and pick up my order of tire tubes. Then I would come home and get the KLR back on the trails. (After all the Big Bend Chilli weekend is coming up).

I get to the dealership and everyone was extremely polite and very pleasent, but when it comes down to it.... The don't have what I ordered. In fact they do not even have the one rear that they said they did on Tuesday.

I am disappointed in this establishment for making a promise that it couldn't keep. Not that they did not have what I ordered, but that I arange my weekend around them based on their promise. This has only cost me time, so I do not have a lot to complain about other than a man (or shop for that matter) is only as good as their word. And because of that, my first trip will be my only trip to their shop, they will never see me (or my money) again.

I can not recommend them.

Hey Duke thanks for the info. I have only been over to that dealer a couple of times and they are not that helpful. I have some old spare tubes laying around my garage if you need one. I can also help you mount the tires if you want. I usually pic up tubes from cycle gear or if you want a true 17" tube for the rear I have had good luck getting them in 3 day's from Fred at a arrowhead motorsports online.

Bryan,

Thanks for the offer. When my tubes get here (had to order from cycle gear) I will be giving you a call.

Thanks,
Duke
