We've got four of us headed up to Crossbar Ranch on Sunday morning. First time for all of us. Anybody else going to be there?

Any advice for first-timers? We're used to tearing around Red River.

Wear your helmet in the parking area. There is a sign at the entrance that says to call the manager when you get there. You can try, but your probably not going to have cell service. There are two loops. The long one is 22 miles and I would call at least intermediate level with rocks, long climbs, descents, and creek crossings. the short loop is 11 miles and is fairly flat with a few less rocks, but still fun.

The Mexican restaurant in town is pretty good. Ask Brad (the managar) what it's called and tell him I said hi.

Thanks! We're looking forward to checking it out. The 22 mile loop sounds like fun .
