She just left the Dr with a lump in her breast. Doctor reffered her to a specialist.
Please pray for a calmness to rest on her heart until we get results. Thanks to all in advance.

Prayers said. And for you, too. Remember, most lumps are completely benign.

Sure, happy to pray for her and you too. I hope you learn more as soon as possible. The unknown is always worse than the know.

Well the Dr.s office called and said Dec6 is the soonest appt. they could get anywhere for a sonogram. So in the mean time I guess my job is to just allay her fears and keep her mind off of negative thoughts. Thanks to all

Thanks to everyone for prayers! Yesterday the Dr.s office told us they had tried "everywhere" and the soonest they could get Marie in for a sonogram was Dec 6.:argh: .
Last night One of my THREE Father-in-laws called and we told him the news. Today his girlfriend called and we have an appointment for Nov 27th in the Dallas area! A full 9 days earlier.:sun:
I think cutting the waiting time in 1/2 has a ton of benefits #1 it's less time for her to stress and worry. #2 when My Cancer was discovered a delay of this type would have cost me my life, So we are both of the opinion that its imperitive to get in ASAP. #3 Nothing derogaty to local Midland Odessa Dr.s but we feel safer with more experienced Dr.s at a larger Hospital

Excellent! Where/with who is the appointment & what time? That happens to be a Tuesday - you could make a Tarrant County M&G on the way back. :trust:

Or maybe we could just meet ya'll for lunch. I know a good Italian place... ;-)

She's going to Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas up by White Rock lake. Her appointment is for 7:00 am. We will leave for Dallas Monday right after work and drive to her Grandmothers house (just south of White Rock Lake) Spend the night get up early head to the Hospital. I'm not sure how long there then drive home Tuesday night so long as nothing unforeseen crops up. Depending on how things go and how long our day is it's entirely possible that we could make the Meet and greet! Again thanks for all the prayers so far I really feel that had alot to do with us getting an appointment 10 days earlier than what was "the soonest available"

That is a good facility - both my parents were treated there in the past, so I know it well.

Walnut Hill Lane, east of US 75 (Central Expressway). north and west of the White Rock Lake area.

Hoping for the best. Being careful is good but hopefully it is nothing. I am keeping my fingers crossed for Marie.

Holidays can be the best times to go through these kind of situations simply because your family has no reason not to be there when you need them. But if for some reason they're not, then you've got us. We'll be praying.
