You guys have got to look at this story.
Looks like either an R6 or R1, this rider had an angel with him for sure. He was dragged for a few hundred feet and LITERALY walked away from this nightmare with only a minor ankle injury.

The rider must have been trapped on top of the bike, and between the vehicles. its amazing.
I hit a motorcycle from behind at about 100 mph and the same thing happened. I had the brakes locked up, but could see the rider's arm or leg pop up above the hood a couple of times before we came to a stop. Same thing with him. He ended up on top of the bike, and pinned by the bumper/grill. He rode like that for over 400 feet.
Thank God he just had a few scrapes and burns.
Then he went to jail. :eek2: I really thought I'd cooked the guy.

I'm going to venture to say it was a pursuit, the bike was in front and then hit the brakes causing whoa to hit him...... then whoa arrested him for evading and anything else that the rider deserved.
BUT, then again I could be waaaay off.

Oh, I'm not really sure, it's just that I can't see any other reason why whoa would be going 100 mph, hit a bike,...................................... and then the bike rider goes to jail.

Ding ding ding. We split lanes going through an intersection, and then he cut in front of me braking hard to cut through a parking lot and I nailed his bike. It really was a grace of God moment. Once I knew he was alive, I was able to become furious at the kid.
These situations make me very thankful there are people willing to serve as peace officers. Its not a job I was willing to stay in.
The article posted says the man was drug almost 100 yds. That was a very long ride. It really is a game of inches.
