Hey everybody! I originally registered under "gorillahandz" but decided to change to a handle that some folks from another forum might recognize.
Anyway, I'm from Bastrop, been riding for a year and some change, and I'm loving every minute of it. I've got about 12K miles under me, and my life is now that 12K miles richer.
Here's a pic of me with my second bike, my Ninja 500R:

If anyone in the central TX area wants to go for a ride sometime feel free to email me, I'm a weekend type rider.
See ya'll on the road!

Don't know about central TX, but in the DFW area we have a plethora of pinatas, uh, people who are always happy to ride with you.

Good to have ya here, Isaac! Bastrop State Park is one my favorite ride destinations. I always work PR1 into the route if I'm passing through. 8-)

Hey Isaac... Good to see you bud.
Just got word from Rhonda. Hopefully we can get some rides going again soon.
Howdy Isaac,
Thanks for the tour of 3090.
Really liked that route. Appreciate you writing about this place. Pls resend the contact info as everything is in BB lockdown.
Looking forward to the next gathering,

Welcome Isaac - we are trying to get a little more organized and regular when it comes to rides and meets here in the Austin area. So this new year should be much better than last.
We are having our New for 2005: Central Texas Meet and Greet (http://www.twtex.com/viewtopic.php?t=2789) in Hico on January 29th. This is the start of a monthly meet which may rotate between the Hico location and another place in Marble Falls.
Welcome again.

Sleepy, I'll be heading back up that way soon, I assure you. That ride to Clark's and back was too nice of one to miss out on too many times.
Hello Scratch. Yeah BSP is nice for a good, slow ride. I like to link it up to go from Austin to Bastrop via 969 and then from Buescher State Park out towards La Grange via 153. That makes for a nice 70+ mile sweeper and slow twisty route.
Hey Ken, yeah, we're gonna have to ride again soon.
Hey Ash! Glad you made it over here. I'll send you a PM about the latest goings on concerning the site we all came from.
hey bluedog, thanx for the welcome. Sounds great that you guys are planning some get togethers this year. I have a couple of riding buddies in Austin, I'm sure they would be interested in meeting up also. I'll be honest, though, I'm not a crazy kind of rider and don't really like riding with folks who are. I'm willing to meet up with you guys to see if your riding style matches mine, if so, great. If not, well, no harm no foul. I'm not trying to sound like a jerk, just being honest. I'm a firm believer in riding my own ride. Hope to ride with you guys soon. Oh, and as for Hico get together later this month, I'm gonna try to make it. I'll be the guy on the Ninja 500.

I ride my Sprint at about a cruiser pace, back on the bike after several years off. So I am still slow, and at the back of the pack usually. I also have a hard time getting used to these chip seal roads around here, I have very little confidence in them. They were just starting to use that crap up there in Oklahoma when I moved down here, so there weren't as many of them.
You (and your friends) are welcome to any of the events posted up here.
