guess that I'm quick to complain when I deal with a place that doesn't come thru

So fair turn-around

Took the front wheel from my GS to WWHonda to have the bearings pulled

No real appointment and asked if it was OK to wait (bit of a drive)

Just had time to go to the waffle house for a cheese steak omlette and a side of bacon - they removed the bearings and installed the new ones I had in my pocket

No muss,no fuss - kept their promise and was cheaper then I figured

Nice people - if I buy another BMW or Honda it will be from them!

Yup, they are great - and have one of the larger gear selections for a dealership (which obviously excludes Cycle Gear) in the area.

Squek...didn't you get your oly gear from them?

Yup. Also got my last two pairs of street boots and at least one pair of gloves there.

Bought my Nighthawk there from Ed. He's their KTM specialist. I'll probably pick up a dirt bike from him in a few months.

Dan is definitely the man. I do however find their parts people arrogant and unhelpful.

I'll second that, and add that their Tech's have been there many years, and are first rate! :thumb:

That's some long arms if they reached your pocket way over at the Waffle House.

Dropped of the bike there yesterday for it's 600-miler. They are as friendly as usual. And I am expecting good service as per their reputation.

You always hear about the long arm of the law... but this is a new one :trust:

I was way more impressed that these long arms were not in my wallet

Picked up the bike yesterday. They did the initial 600-miler on it, and also took care of a few problems just the way I wanted. Good service, good people! :thumb:

Wild West has been great to me over the years.
Their service department is great enough to have had several past Iron Butt Rally finishers get pre rally service done there.
They have a great bulletin board with customers ride photos posted.
Man I can not say enough good things about them.

I bought my 2005 R1200GS from Wild West's consignment lot and have been pleased with their sales and service.

I rode the bike there and waited while the shop replaced the control switch that was sticking. Warranty work at $0.00 wow!:-P

Just got the latest issue of Ride Texas, and Wild West was ranked #1 for best metric brands service, and #3 for best euro brands service (behind BMW North at #2). Glad they got #1 for metrics, but I think the #3 ranking for euro brands is a joke. I give them #1 all the way around. Congrats to them!

I really like them too. Wish they handled Yamaha's & Suzuki's.

I'll add my two thumbs up for the service group!

1. Excellent communication throughout the process
2. Good value
3. Even a little "lanyap" involved.

Looks like my BMW service is going west from now on.

Dave.

They were rated BEHIND BMW North?:brainsnap

Another thumbs up here for Wild West, though.

I can only say good things about the service at WW. I had a blow out on my GS a few weeks ago and on the way back from loading the bike up I stopped by to set up an appointment to get a new tire put on. Dan said if I could wait around he would work me in between other jobs. I was outta there in a couple of hours and riding again!

It's the only place I'll go for service and my next bike purchase will from them, even if I have to pay a little more (but don't tell them that).

BMW parts
When they don't have the parts they can get parts for a 15 year bike within days. They will ship to your home. I have dealt with the other BMW dealership.....3 weeks plus or never.
Wild West... good people

Thanks,
Les
