Howdy,
:tab Man... Maladin suffers a 160 mph rear tire disentigration and he manages to ride it out for a lonnnggg way before finally dropping it!! Simply amazing. Did you see the damage to the rear of the bike just from the chunks of the tire flying all over the place!? Then after Maladin loses the lead, Yates goes to flinging his bike all over the freaking place, riding in the grass through the esses, busting wheelies all over the place, lapping up to 9th place!! Just wish the top places were all closer to each other so they could be dicing it up. I hate seeing someone run off with it :| At least Eric was close behind. But geez, Roberts was wayyy back there in 3rd :? Can't wait for round two!

:tab Just watched race two!! Great stuff. I just wish E Boz was on a more competitive bike. It is so frustrating to see him busting his *** so hard and not be able to really compete for the lead. The fact that he is doing as well as he has been is simply amazing and is a real testament to his skill!

I really like Bostrom's attitude, too. He gave credit where due. He's obviously a bit frustrated by the handicapped bike he's got, but is really classy, imho, about praising his team, etc. Cool guy. If I could ride at .01 of his ability, I'd be happy... :)

I just wish the AMA didn't make the 800cc kwakker carry an extra 15lbs. So much for any advantage of being lighter.
Eboz should give mladin a run for his money at PPIR, though, and it's going to be a doubleheader, which is also good for Eric.
Road trip to Colorado weekend afternext, anyone?

Is the PPIR race the weekend of June 7th & 8th? If so, I have the entire week after that off. That is when I was going to do a Southwestern Colorado tour. We could haul butt out there, see the races, then spend a week riding all over the place. Interested?

No, it's May 30th-June 1. And I found out that I already had plans. For that weekend. :|
That's okay, I'm going to Barber in September (19-21, season finale). Maybe we'll have better luck organizing that one if we start now. :)

Just saw Mladdin's tire coming apart at 160 MPH. Wow that was some impressive riding.
Gotta go, the second race is on.
