Wow. I've had a lot to drink tonight. Anyway, my B-day is tomorrow. Gonna be 29. Regardless of the condition of my two wheeled friends, I must be on one of the two on my way to work tomorrow. The Buell is actually street legal, but its TLC is still located in a highly viscious polymer packaging. (New front brakes and fork oil.) The ST2... just not safe for now. Though in my currrent inebriated state, I am considering zip tying the clutch cable back to the handle bar (forgetting the fact that the headlight just isn't there) and trying to take into account the sticking throttle by heavily feathering the dry clutch. (I was raised Southern Baptist via fire and brimstone, that should answer all your questions.) The question I must pose before you now is, which do I ride? (If all else fails I do have a pair of cages. One of which is perfectly functional.)

Hit some puddles every once in a while to cool the clutch.

That's what I'm talking about. Hopefully I'll wake up sober. But for now, I'm gonna go listen to the sound of a beautiful L-twin at 13k RPM in nuetral.

That may be a bad idea.

I'd rather have brakes than lights... take the light off the Buell and duct tape it to the duck. It's only temporary anyway.

:chug: Hoistin' one to your success

Okay. Yusa hates me. This may take a little while.

Waaa.... waa... wa...

So.... how many zip ties and feet of duct tape does it take to transplant a 7" standard headlight from a naked P3 to a fully faired ST2?

Classic, "Hey, ya'll, watch this!"

[some time later]

Hypothermia starts to set in. I wipe the ice off my clutch hand. When did it get cold? Some how I've managed to get enough of the fairings off to get access to the battery. By some tingly feel alone, I succeeded in finding the appropriate slots to apply torque to remove the positive and negative bolts from the battery. I actually remembered to remove the over flow tube before walking away, saving my clutch hand from a hydrosulferic doom. I listen carefully to the 2 amp hour trickle charge... yup. Got juice... all this effort and I already know the Buell is going to win come 6:30am and a few dead sickly and slow brain cells later.
