Hey there. My name is Rhonda, and I'm a bikeaholic. Sure, it started small with a little red bicycle with training wheels and plastic, tiger-headed grips. I graduated to a Schwinn. Then another Schwinn. Next thing I knew? I was a cyclist with a Japanese 12-speed and a 200-mile a week habit. Years later, I realized 12 gears wasn't enough, so now I have 27. I am addicted to being IN nature, and I love the wind in my face. But ya know? Hills can be a pain. Then I realized something -- with a motor they'd be pretty easy. So two years ago I did what I've wanted to do since I first rode my next-door neighbor's minibike. I bought the R-Honda, a Shadow Spirit 750. Sure, she's pretty stock, but she's mine, and she has more "WHEEEEE!" factor than anything else I own.

Here she is at the Inaugural HAH! Ride. Thanks, El Guapo, for your photo skills! :dude:

Hiya Rhonda!

BTW, I spy a really nice looking ZZR in that picture. I wonder who's that is.

Why yes, that IS a handsome ZZR. I didn't notice it at first, because I was blinded by the brilliance of the R-Honda in the foreground. :nana Will you be riding this weekend? It's supposed to be kinda nice. Hear that? It's the sound of your arm being twisted.

No probs on the pic, Rhonda! Heh heh, funny you mention my photography skills because I didn't even get my own bike in that pic. It's hidden between the ST1100 and Vulcan 500. Ah well, I guess you always have to stick the prettiest girl at the dance in the corner to give the others a chance! 8-) Seriously, though, the R-honda is a gorgeous bike, so is Kobati's ZZR.

argh! No fair! I'm so jealous all you guys got to ride this weekend! Anthony, myself, and maybe DarkHelmut were gonna get together and ride this Sunday, but upon getting ready to do a full cleaning/lubing on my chain I noticed a problem with the masterlink, so I'm officially off the bike until I get a new one and had to cancel on the ride. I'm now getting a taste of that frustratration all those northerners feel about not being able to ride. Glad all ya'll had fun!

But the good news is you don't have to wait 3 months to fix the chain.
8-)

Well, as the Weasel is quick to point out, you don't have to wait three months. I've just heard from Clair in Salt Lake City, who says that if all us Texans really cared about those people who have real winters, we'd stay off our bikes 'til they got theirs out of storage. :rofl <sniff>

Yeah...I'm still laughing about it too.
