I like these guys. I have the GT-20 which is probably bigger than what you want, but the quality and price are pretty good. Looks like they are still offering a favorable US/CA price rate!!

I had a magnetic tank bag (Joe Rocket) on a Superhawk and really scratched up the paint. I was very careful about removing it after each ride, cleaning up the magnet area as well as the tank but it still scratched it up.

Be sure to protect the paint with some type of clear coating. I noticed that some new car dealers are now offering a thin clear film that goes over the hood and fenders to protect them from rock chips and bug guts. Surely you could use some of that on the tank under the magnetic areas.

I use the Cortech Super Mini (http://www.newenoughhp.com/luggage/tank_bags/cortech_by_tour_master/super_mini_magnetic_motorcycle_tank_bag.html) tankbag everyday. It is a pretty good size if you are looking for a small tank bag.

It will hold my wallet, phone, gerber multi-tool, XD-40, ibuprofen with room to spare for a few other things. There is a functional sunglasses pouch on the front and a small but nice detachable map pocket.

It fits well on my SV.

I have a Tour Master Cortech Mini(not super mini) magnetic expandable. To get an idea of the size, I can fit two 2litre pop bottles in it with room for a few thinner items on top.

About once a week I lift it off and carefully clean the tank and then the bag with a thick, clean, cotton towel. After close observation I cannot find any evidence that the bag is leaving a mark or scratch of any kind after 5 months of everyday use, including some rough offroading.

It is loaded in this video, as you can see it stays on good until I lay it down....http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ibNGeTwnExQ

Nice video fattybean

I am looking at these two bags as I need something large for camping and holding a MSR 3 liter hydration bag.

The TOURMASTER CORTECH Tri-Bag Tank Bag (http://www.cyclegear.com/spgm.cfm?L1=2&L2=55&L3=&L4=&item=HEL_82-406_G&tier2=3129)is versital with the samll part I could use on a daily basis and both when I go camping but it does not have a dedicated place for the bladder.

The other is the Rapid Transit The Stack LT Magnetic Tank Bag (http://www.newenoughhp.com/luggage/tank_bags/rapid_transit/the_stack_lt_magnetic_motorcycle_tank_bag.html)thi s one is a nice size and has a place for the bladder alreay built in.

Plus both have outside pockets that will handle my G17 or G26 ;-)

I've got a Nelson-Riggs magnetic tank bag for my SV650S (2005), expanded it holds a ton of stuff. I've made day-trips with nothing but the tank bag. Shoes, change of clothes, toothbrush, razor, etc. I like the removable map pouch also, I like it a lot.

Those are some big, expensive bags! I got my tankbags of ebay for $55 shipped, I bought 2 so I have a back up if the first one gets stolen. Something to think about with a magnetic bag, maybe get a cheap ebay bag for everyday use.

For what it's worth, all the Tour Master stuff I have(gloves, pants, rain suit, tankbags) is well made, I haven't had any problems with any of it.

I keep my 27 in its' C-TAC in my waistband at 12:00, several off-road getoffs have proven it to be secure.

Unfortunately this is the needed mindset if you live here in Corpus Christi.
