Hey, this is Gary Grant from Rockwall, Texas. Rockwall is about 25 miles east north east of Dallas. I'm a fifty-year-old married guy that's been riding for forty years. I currently have a black 1998 Honda ST1100 with 92K miles, and a blue/yellow 2003 Kawasaki Ninja EX250 with about 12K on it (my daughter thinks the Ninja is her's). I average about 12K a year on a bike, and have been in every state west of the Mississippi except Alaska and Hawaii, and a lot of the states East.
My wife likes to ride with me. We generally do about 2K - 4K a year in just lunch rides east of Rockwall. Another 2K - 4K a year on longer multi-day trips, like Big Bend, Talimena, etc, and I usually do a two-week trip by myself just about anywhere for another 4K - 6K. I like to pitch a tent when I travel through the West.
I've been around bikes for a long time. I like bike shops, bike people, bike gear, bike events, all kinds of bike stuff. I hope to meet all of you sometime.
