This was actually posted a year or so ago. The comments were similar. Take a look here (http://www.twtex.com/forums/showthread.php?t=14379).

30+ years of riding, and I've never had a 'big one'.
This is a good dose of reality. Won't make me stop riding, though.
BUT--My wife rides with our 13 year old daughter behind her, and I have our 15 year old daughter behind me, and we ride all over the West.
It would be horrible to be in an accident when we have our girls with us, but we sit our girls down every now and then, and discuss the dangers inherent in motorcycling, and they want to continue riding.
We FIRMLY believe in ATGATT.
I'll tell you something else, too:
As a family, we NEVER laugh together as much as when we're riding, whether it's all the way to Montana for Barbque in Drummond, or just down the road for breakfast. Whenever we're together with our bikes, the world is simply a much better place.

There is a video of a Chinese scooter rider caught with a traffic camera. He is hit then run over by a large truck, It is grusome. Someone posted it on the Lonestar Voyagers website. It is not a closeup but from a vantage point where you see enough.
Fot those that must see it just search for it on You Tube as "run over by truck" I think.
