I can't figure out how to get my jpeg pix on here. Never done this before - technologically challenged.

OK, guess it worked. Here's another. Just wanted to show the Givi shield and my use of the Kuriyakin Grand Touring Bag I've had through my past two V-twins. Works nicely on the Bandit.

640X480 is a good size for message boards.
big enough to see, and still allowed.

Thanks SuzukiJo. I took both today. I rode about 420 miles this weekend over Saturday and today. Today was one of those days that only seem to come once a year or so. Perfect weather (55-60), bright sun, no wind, just beautiful. Bike was wonderful, everything was clicking, know what I mean?

The only bad part of the whole weekend was having a sore tailbone from the stock seat. Corbin is getting a call from me tomorrow to order a Gunfighter.

i use imageshack. http://imageshack.us/

find your pic in browse, tic resize, select size, clik host it, cut and past bottom url into photo icon in message reply. preview post, to see how it looks.

most of my pics are too large, to post.

maybe others can say how they post pics, or post link to simple instructions on this site, on what to do. i am certainly no computer guy.

I was leaning toward the Givi shield and that's the best picture of it I've seen as far as being able to judge the size. I'm ordering one tomorrow.

Thanks,

Ol Dave

Yep, same as PhilS. I've grown to love the Givi, although I haven't experienced any other shields than the stocker. The Givi makes the wind hit just at the top of the chin bar on my full-faced helmet (I'm 6'0"). No buffeting, and if you wear soft ear plugs the ride is just about silent. When you get off after a long ride and remove the ear plugs, you're shocked at how noisy the environment is.

OK, SuzukiJo tried to explain it - How do I get a picture to appear in the message window instead as an attachment?

You have to talk real S L O W and use BIG words - and clearly.

My wife makes fun of me and says "You were an Electronics Technician Senior Chief in the Navy and don't know how to post a picture?"

Women, can't live with 'em, pass the beer nuts.

this is how i do it.

open 2 browsers.
open two wheeled texans in first and reply to thread.

in second browser, open imageshack. http://imageshack.us/

in imagesack, tick upload icon, click browse, find the picture in your computer you want to post, you may have to clik thru, my computer, my documents, my pictures or whatever drive your pulling the pic from, clik on the pic you want, clik open. this should now appear in the box next to browse in imageshack. below that you can tick resize image, in the box to the right of that, use 640x480 for messageboards. clik upload button, wait for that to load, it may appear in the window you have open or another one at the bottom bar, find the last url, clik on it to highlight it in blue left click, then right clik on it and then left clik copy.

now go back and open first browser with twt forums reply, and with the curser mark showing in the reply box blinking, clik on the little yello square above the reply box, that has the little mountian and sun, another box will appear with (http:// ) showing, delete that, and right clik in the box, the left clik paste.

the url from your computer will show in the box. clik ok,
in your reply box should be your picture if you 'preview post'.

in short, instead of cutting and pasting in the reply, you have to open the little picture box, and put it in there.

i hope this is understandable.
