I would like to use my avatar how can I?
It has to meet the 125 pixel rule and be posted on the internet somewhere. You can use a hosting service, the web space your ISP provides or have someone host for you. You then enter the URL in your profile.

If anyone needs a picture hosted, I have a web site on a co-located box (game server) that I can put images on. Just email it to me & I'll email you the URL when it is in place...
email: cgibke@compuserve.com
A hint - JPEG/JFIF format (*.jpg) is probably best...

Actually, the GIF format is best. It will usually give the smallest file size. This is important for those poor souls out there still forced to access the internet with modems... ;-)
Adios,

Yeah, both GIFs and JPEGs compress well and are native to most browsers in use.
I just didn't want them sending BMPs... :-?

Can any of you admin types resize my avatar. I've tried to find one that meets the rules and meets my requirements but I REALLY want the 59 logo because I am a dues paying member of the 59 club. It would be easier if I could upload from my own compy. I've tried putting it at another site that would host my pics but it won't load up properly.
I don't wanna cause trouble for anybody, but I need help. I really like this website.
Help!

I have it here, if you want to just use this URL:
http://www.texasarlingtoncs.us/pics/mc/59logo2a.gif
It should be there a long while if you need it...
(It is the same one that Kidder posted)

I too could use some avatar assistance. I guess the avatar requirements changed a while back and I never adjusted to it. Here's what I have. Could I please get some re-size and hosting assistance?

Kurt,
Is my avatar too big?
Yes. It is 180 pixels and the maximum is 125. Coming from a fisherman, and involving a fish, I'm not surprised.

The URL you list does not have a file with an image extension (it could also be a directory). It needs to look like this:
http://www.texasarlingtoncs.us/pics/smilies/dance.gif
which displays this: http://www.texasarlingtoncs.us/pics/smilies/dance.gif
