In my seach for a cheap waterproof duffle I found this...

Okay this bag is okay but not waterproof at all...

Splash resistant would be a more fitting description...

It's zipper is the worst I've seen on a "dry bag"

It does have a few redeeming features...

Padded Backpack strap for those that might like to bike and hike...

Several tiedown points and handles...

Compression straps to elimitate load shifting...

Outer material PVC seems thick and tough...

But it's sold as a waterproof bag and it's not so -3 on my scale of
-5 to +5...

Or if you want truely dry stuff made specifically for the motorcycle go with the Wolfman Expedition series. No zippers to leak! You can find this stuff cheaper than suggested retail from discount vendors.

Yes I have the Wolfman Duffle for my jacket liners, spare gloves, socks, stuff that must stay dry but I was looking for a top loading duffle for my tent, sleeping bag and pad, and some extra "dry" storage...

I can recommend a boat bag from Bass Pro shops too. The zipper is covered by a flap, and strapping it down with the zipper in back has given me good results. The sewn in D rings are excellent bungee anchor points.

Yes! It's the one I use except in blue. On two different rides I rode all day under water so-to-speak and all was dry. I would definitely buy this bag again if need be.:thumb:

FWIW, same here - I have two.... Like Quick-Silver, have ridden in the rain for extended periods and contents were bone dry...:thumb:
