Anyone use one of these? I was wanting to get one for my pending 2-wheeled beauty so when I rode to work I could see the time, but I don't want to buy one if they are junk...

I would like a digital clock, just so it would be easier to read while on the move.
If not this one, anyone have one to suggest? Not too expensive and all I need is a clock, maybe an outside temp gauge.

What kind of handlebars do you have? I took my clock and thermomoter off the RS when I sold it.
I need to go to mom's house for a sec, but I will be back in a few.

I had the same request when I started riding my bike to work all the time. I ended up going to a little luggage/junk store located next to Sam Moon's and bought the absolute cheapest and smallest travel clock I could find. I can't even find a link to one because it's so non-name brand. I velcro'd it to the inside of the map pocket on my tank bag right where I can see it.

Coleman brand I believe. Waterproof and if somebody (read lowlife) takes it, I'm not out anything. I wrap it around the clamps on the handlebar.

Aerostich (http://www.aerostich.com/aerosearch.php?restrict=Static&q=clocks) has a wide variety of clocks for motorcycles, stick-on, clip, etc. You might find something or get an idea for another solution.

That looks very similar to the one I have on my Shadow. I got mine from Radio Shack so it has slightly different packaging. It's been on the bike for about 4 years and keeps good time. The temperature changes very slowly. It takes almost the full 10 minute commute for the temp to drop from garage to ambient on cool mornings. In the sun, the temp reading is skewed as well.
On my Vulcan I simply strapped a cheapo clearance wristwatch onto the handlebars. A bit of pipe insulation helps make up the diameter. Been doing this for a while. When the battery dies, it's cheaper to replace the watch than get a new battery.
On the BMW, it has a clock in the dash and thermometer in the BC computer.
On the SV I had a $5 Walmart watch on the triple tree. It was waterproof, had a great light & cheap.
If you have regular bars though... I'm not sure what to tell you. The Buell has a clock & the KLR has nothing.

Product Reviews
This product is a JUNK!!!! I can not believe that Aerostich would even sell this crap -Larry, Tate, Tuesday, November 27, 2007
This unit is low quality crap. worked for a few months then lost time & got stuck in celcius. No amount of fiddling would set time or switch to faranheit. Biggest disappointment however was Rider Warehouses response after 30 day return policy expired. I expected more from both Motofizz & Rider Warehouse. Plenty of other clock manufacturers & Retailers to sell them. M - Michael Frisbie, Thursday, August 3, 2006
The thermometer is not accurate, it is off by several degrees.
The user manual clearly states not waterproof but water resistant.
Functions are bad, button on the bottom only shows the temps in memory.
A waste of money. -KK, Monday, February 6, 2006
