I just mounted a set of these on my Voyager, a 700lb touring bike.
Initial impression is very good. The rubber is sticky when your just rolling the wheel around. I have ridden through some damp spots with no "surprises". Tar snakes don't cause them any undue responses.
I had found a front at Cycle Gear on close out that I replaced the Perilli with. It was dirt cheap so that was my guiding light. I found that the worn rear Perilli does not work with the profile of the new Michelin. So after searching the internet I found them priced between $139 down to $123 at Georgetown Power sports plus the $19 mounting (I take the rim in).
There is nothing like new rubber but we all know that changes with time. I well report back on monthly wear and general impressions. I am taking a run out to The Sisters next month, two up with luggage for a week end.
