Chased David (noone) around for twenty miles before he had to go after lunch, then did a few more loops with a guy from Austin who tweaked a naked radiator on his YZ426 for a 46 mile total :rider: Dirt was nice and moist, but it seems like the whole place has been double tracked by quads since I've been there. Still a very tight ride though;-)

Have the quads found loop 2 yet? Thats the last singletrack left out there.

I think David and I rode all but #7, and I hit that later. They even had Grass Track double rutted. I was looking for dust to follow more than the signs:lol2: . David may remember Loop 2...

When are place like this going to learn to put BIG clear signage up that says "NO QUADS" on certain trails. Look at what's happening at Red River. Places like Bill's Woods are being permanently closed off.

I seriously doubt quads have found a way through loop 2 yet, darn near impossible I'd say, thanks to a couple of spots that require about a 12" track width (mainly coming out of the big creek crossing). I was out there in January, it was still very much "single" track. Would be nice if they'd make a few of the loops off-limits to quads, and enforce it...

They've cut around some tight spots, and flattened saplings in others. Seems to make for more face-slappers, since they're a couple of feet lower:argh:

Yeah, they found loop 2!! In all the tight spots they seemed to make new trails around whichever obstacle was there. It was frustrating at times, but still a nice ride. I'm not against the quads riding out there, they just need to stay on the trails and quit tearing up the areas around the harder, more techinical stuff. It would be nice to be able to enforce there whereabouts, but how? Maybe a width limit like the national forest? Oh well still had a good ride with Pete, sorry I had to rush off early!!
