I sent this to the Austin Convention and Visitors deal but thought you guys might be of some help. Has anyone stayed at a place like this in Austin?

We have a motorcycle group that would like to have a local gathering but need help locating special accommodation. I was hoping someone could look at my list of "would be nice" and make suggestions.
It would be nice:

If it was cheap. We are a frugal bunch and can live with less then perfect accommodation's. I am thinking $40-70 maybe a bit more if for the right reason. This would be a weekend event.

If the place will not be freaked out by 15-40 old guys/wives on motorcycles. We are a quiet bunch for the most part and don't ride loud hogs. I am 49yo

If it was on the north west or west side somewhere so we were close to the good roads without having to go into traffic.

If there was good food in walking distance since many of us do not ride at night.

If it had some feel of a resort and had gathering areas, banquet room or even camping allowed all might bring higher numbers willing to pay more but we are alright at motel dives also. Even cabins and camping but it would have to have both.

It would be nice to have something special and I think we could make it a yearly thing for the group. If not special then cheap but functional.

Why stay in Austin? If riding is the goal stay out west, Kerrville,Leaky,Bandera area. If the goal is to stay close to Austin
for nightlife I would look to places out around Dripping Springs, give
you an easy way into town on 290 and good roads to the Hill Country

I can't find that mom and pop hotel on 290 west near Wm. Cannon. What is its name?

I am looking for a group that already has a rally in Kerrville and yes part of the goal is to be close to night life and my house in case we want to do tech day, party at my place or night down town. If I can find a great place I am not opposed to bringing TWT into the mix also.
