Want to get away?
You can tell that this road gets almost zero traffic. When I rode it Saturday morning I passed two bicycles and one jogger. Other than the continuous fences on either side there are no signs of civilization.
There are no driveways and only a handful of locked gates along the path linked below. This is not a road to practice your high speed riding. There were a couple wash-outs and little areas of gravel here and there.
Near the northern end of the route there is a small length of perfect asphalt with a great elevation change and view of the "Blanco River Valley". I forgot my camera on this trip so I don't have any enticing photos.
