Anyone got a good recomendation on a solid bike shop in DFW? I'm picking up an '02 GS500 and looking to do some mods, some myself and others I'm going to need help and, at the very least, some parts.

Ebay shops are always good so if you've got a recomendation there, great, but sometimes I just get the urge to do it right now or need an immediate fix so looking for something local. I don't mind a hike for good deals or great service. Extra points for any shops that'll be patient with a newbie trying to learn a thing or two. Thanks.

I've heard a lot good about Piper, and no bad stories from several boards from sportbike to harleys.

I'll probably be taking my FZ1 over there to double check the air fuel mix after my rejet last fall.

A shop that treated me very well is Northside Cycle

Elmer Morton is the owner and he is a super wrencher. I had an old Virago that noone would touch and he made it run like a top. Very reasonable as well. I give him high marks.

Piper Performance, I've had Cliff work on my ZX-11 and a Friend had him work on his Suzuki SV650,,

Great work, clean shop...
