This past w/e we camped at a spot just north of Paris on 271 in Powderly, TX. The name is Angel's Camp RV Park. We had called them before hand so they knew we were coming. We had told them we did not need electricity, just water and a grassy area to pitch our tents.
They gave us beautiful tree covered area with a couple of picnic tables a swing, a grill, and even a place have a fire if we wanted. It was not too far from some very clean restrooms with showers. They also had a laundary available. They charged us $15 per tent per night we were only there one night, but the folks were super. Let us park the bikes on the grass and we had plenty of space under the pine trees to put up 3 tents. They even ran some temporary water for us from the their house.
