Texan BBQ located on FM 830 just east of Lake Conroe is a must stop for BBQ. Try the Spicy Chicken Sandwich for a real treat, and I say this even with the fact that usually not eat chicken. The chopped beef spud is a meal and a half. The gumbo is pretty good too. As a matter of fact, I haven't had anything there that wasn't good. It's just a little Mom & Pop place that opened a couple of years ago. Not real sure of the hours but I do know they are closed on Sunday and Monday and I believe they are open till 7:00 Tuesday to Friday and till 4:00 on Saturdays.
