Howdy,

:tab Well, it is a little short on the notice, but I am shooting for another bike night at King's Cafe (http://www.twtex.com/viewtopic.php?t=127), Thursday evening, 6/19 from 7:00-9:00pm. If you get there early, be sure to make a run up and down FM 149 through the forest, it will have recently been blacktopped with perfect new asphalt!!

:tab So if you can get away for the evening, come hang out and enjoy good food and company!

So the weather is a little bizzare for June?! Anyway, I'll be there even if I have to drive the car. Having dinner with other riders beats sitting at home eating in front of the tube ;-)

Good - I won't feel like the odd man out driving a truck to a bike meet! :lol:

I'm not sure I can make it yet, but I'll try. They make a darn good burger there. Mmmm....

I'm planning on making it. The weather here has been unpredictable at best, but hopefully we'll just have a mid-afternoon shower with a relatively clear evening. It did that today and then rumbled all evening w/o any rain here in Aggieland. I'm trying to get one of my buddies from work to tag along. He has a ZRX-1100 and has never made a trip though the forest. :eek: I hope the weather cooperates for riding. :angel: Driving the truck is BORING... :|

Howdy,

:tab According to the Weather guessers, the weather looks to be good for the bike night. I hope we will see a lot of you there. I rode down to Kings this evening. FM 149 has been asphalted on the Northbound lane only between FM 1097 just North of town and FM 1791. There is a drop off of about 1-1/2 to 2" between the lanes. Needless to say, if you ride this before getting to Kings, please be careful. Passing slower traffic could get real ugly in a hurry. Hopefully, they will pave the Southbound lane during the day before we get down there!
