So after looking around at what others where doing to quiet the blinker down I decided to dive in.
For starters the blinker relay is on the left side of the 2008 200GY-5. It is also behind the left piece of plastic not under the seat.

After you take of the side panel it is the bottom of the 2 relay's and next to the coil. I don't like the electrical plug facing down where it can catch allot of road grime. So I taped it after I finished.
Here is the opening that the "noise" comes out.

So what I did was take a tip from the LF200-iii video on YouTube and stuffed a cotton ball into the large opening and put some electrical tape over it.
End result.

So there ya go. I hope this helps at least one person.
I have put a whooping 5 miles on the bike practicing in a parking lot near the house. My plate should come in this week and my course is set and paid for July. So I hope to be legal soon. :rider:

If your blinkers too loud, your motor's too quiet.

Stopping the beep, beep is quite easy. My flasher burned up when a wire in the left rear turn signal grounded. I bought a 3 dollar two pronged flasher at Auto Zone and it no longer beeps when it flashes. No cotton, cloth, or other stuffing necessary. Hey, but you probably should get used to jury riggin' a Chinese bike. I just got thorough with the best "engineering" job I've ever pulled off on my Diamo's rear wheel cush drive...better than new. It's got 2mm bigger drive bolts and higher grade STAINLESS at that. So, I'm thinkin' they won't strip out again. I'm thinking about a patent. Might open a business for rear wheel drive modifications.
China bikes are fun to tinker with, stone simple, but there are times when we have to be creative. Hey, but it ain't as tough as a Ural or Indian Enfield.

You beat me to it... I was going to suggest cutting the muffler off.

The noisy blinker is so you dont ride for miles at a time with the blinker flashing , some people pay extra for that option . SEYA

Just use hand signals and that won't happen. Sooner or later you're going to need to move your left hand to the clutch. :lol2:

The blinker noise on this thing is the same tone and loudness as a reverse one on a box truck. You would have to be deaf vs cutting the pipe to mask it. :trust:
