Howdy,

:tab In conjunction with RideSmart Motorcycle School, we are hosting a TWT Meet and Greet at the Eagles Canyon Raceway (http://www.eaglescanyon.com/2008/facilities.php) (North of Ft Worth). This is a trackday/school weekend, but also an opportunity for folks to come out and meet each other and check out what a trackday is all about (no entry fee to spectate!!). I will be there and will have a pit tent setup with the TWT banner, so I should be easy to find. I'll also be doing a few door prize drawings. RideSmart is providing free burgers and dogs. For more details on time, location etc, check out this thread (http://www.twtex.com/forums/showthread.php?t=29147) in the RideSmart TWT Sponsor forum. There will also be a few big screens set up for AMA/MotoGP race watching since this will be Laguna Seca weekend! It would be really great to get a good showing of TWT folks out for this.

:tab I'll be trailering up Friday afternoon/evening. If anyone lives near there and has a spare bed/couch, I would sure appreciate a place to stay so I don't have to cough up for a hotel for the weekend :trust: Also, if there is anyone from the Houston area wanting to trailer up with me, I have room for up to three other bikes and four other people. However, I won't be coming home until Sunday evening. We'd also have to work out lodging.

When: July 19/20th, 2008

Where: Eagles Canyon Raceway (http://www.eaglescanyon.com/2008/facilities.php)

What are the times that you plan to be there for both days?

I should be there all day Saturday and most of the day Sunday, at least until late afternoon or early evening.

Yes, yes, but what does that mean in something with an o'clock associated with it? Your normal 10:00 or the start time or o-dark-30?

I have not checked to see what time the track opens, probably 7:00am. If so, I would likely be shooting for whatever time is required to be there in order to ride, 8:00am?

It looks like I have an early morning meet with son and daughter-in-law on Saturday morning, so I'll be up to help out with the TWT booth about noon or so...

Scott & Chuck,
Kathy and I are thinking of coming out and hang out for a while. I am not sure what time we will be there sometime before noon I would imagine. We plan on going to the Saturday morning M&G at the Blue Hangar Cafe in Roanoke then head up that way. We will be on the bikes of course, but will bring our own lawn chairs.
Is there a fee to pay to get in just to watch the madness? Do I look for the TWT banner, and will it be ok to park there?

No fee. Yes, look for the banner. I am not sure exactly where I will be set up because I have never been there before. There will be plenty of parking.
