What: Authentic Mexican at its best. Very popular with the working class Mexicans in Bryan. Open LATE. DO NOT bother to call unless you speak Spanish and if you can't speak it, polish up your pointing skills...they have pictures posted outside the kitchen for the gringos.

Try the tortas and the quesadillas and make sure to ask for a Mexican Coke.

Downsides? Only outside seating and no A/C.

Directions:

Go west from Texas Avenue/Martin Luther King in Bryan. Turn right onto Bryan street and it's about 2 blocks north. Just look for the little brown shack with the high chain link fence around it.

Ahhhhhhhhhh.

Mexican cokes are 1/2 liter and they're made with pure cane sugar, not high fructose corn syrup, same as Dublin Dr Pepper. Definite taste difference.

Some people dont remember when coke tasted good and some just arn't old enough . SEYA
