Someone asked me about my stick-on thermometer at the Starbucks while getting ready for Rick's Grand Saline Soda Shop run.

I got one here and also got my wife a clock - both are stick-ons. We have them stuck onto the "dash" cowling but at least one person on a forum somewhere recommended sticking them to velcro so they could be removed when in "hostile" parking areas.

It is handy to know the air temperature so you can be sure to shiver or sweat, as required... :roll:

I had a clip-on thermometer on my old bike but it really was useless b/c the heat off the motor would give a false temperature. :-( I really would like a clock though. No room for a clip on though on the SV.

That's odd... mine already has a clock built in... :-D

I just have my watch fastened around the handle bars... ghetto onboard clcok :mrgreen:

I have a digital thermometer on the ram-air duct on the left side. The engine heat can influence the temps at a stop, but I have no trouble while under way. On my other bikes, I had a watch fastened around the upper triple clamp. This is the first bike I have owned that had a clock as one of the gauges. I only wish it was dedicated instead of having to toggle between functions to see it.
