I know it's a major sin to join a forum just to sell something, but I figure it's for the benefit of a Bandit owner as well as myself, so it's justified. I'm a long-time member of a local California forum so I know the rules...

Once upon a time I had a 2001 Bandit 600S that carried me all around this great country of ours, from Cape Cod to San Diego and back. At one point towards the end of my ownership of the bike I ordered and installed a Wilbers model 641 shock with remote resevoir, adjustable hi/low speed comp. damping, adjustable rebound damping, and adjustable spring preload. It installed easily and the remote resevoir fit neatly and accessably within the left side bulge of the tail section, affixed to the sub frame. It was a night and day difference.

Shortly after I had to sell the bike. I took the shock off, as the buyer wasn't interested in the added expense. It has just under 1000 miles on it and is like new. I'm not listing it here, but letting all you bandit rider's know that it is listed in the for sale section for a significantly reduced price.

Long live the Bandit!
