Can anyone recommend a ladies riding boot suitable for sport touring and some tame Sunday morning rides?

While I know a true sport boot is the safest option, something along the lines of the Sidi Champion boot would be nice, but I don't think they makes those in ladies sizes.

Got to Moto Liberty (http://www.twtex.com/viewtopic.php?t=191) in Dallas. They carry womens boots. My wife got some very nice Alpine Stars for around $140 or so.

Are you set on m/c specific boots?

My wife and I both have Bates Enforcers w/the steel toe. They have fair ankle protection too and thick soles that really LAST. You also lace them up to your liking and use a side-zipper to get in them. I have used them on both sportbikes and cruisers and they work well.

I replaced my last pair after crashing my RS. They were still wearable, but they're cheap so I got a new pair and kept the crash ones for work boots.

Around $40 at Academy.

I wear a pair of Waterproof Rockport's. They provide ankle protection and my feet are very comfortable in them even after 14 hours on the road. My friend wears a pair of HD boots and her feet kill her after 2 hours on the road. :?

Well I did it...went out and bought myself a pair of Daytona Lady Star's.
So far I love them, they do give you the extra height ( but I have not gone and done any measuring to compare them to my old boots). I will soon post an "official" review. :-D

I LOVE my SIDI Vertebraes. They are men's size, but they fit wonderfully.

www.motoliberty.com is where I buy all of my gear...Great prices, female owned and opporated. Audrey will hook you up. They are great protection from not only wrecks (me at 115mph four years ago and still have them as a back up pair), but weather friendly. Cool in the summer, rain deterant, and keeps my toes from frostbite in the winter.

Hope it helps.

Redd,
Thanks for the post and welcome to the site. We've seen you on the Bluegoose site a few times and I think you even responed to me when I asked about the VFR and the R1100S. Kim and I try to make it out to the BG during the summer months, but it is hard for us to get out there while the kids are in school.

Since this post Kim decided on Daytona Lady Star GTX's. So far she has been very happy with them. Audry just did not have anything in her size the day we went in to look.

Thanks again.

Pete

I have a pair of HD boots and I love'em... they gave me just enough height to touch on my bike and are comfortable... but soon I'm gonna have to get some real boots and Im thinking about the Alpine Star boots
