My Sister in law "Shirley" had surgery this past Thursday. She had the upper 3rd lobe on her right lung removed due to cancer. Seems it was caught early enough that this may have gotten all of it but, results from the Pathologist are due Monday to see if any was found in the surrounding lymph node's. They hope to be home Monday and start the recovery process. My Brother and Sister in law live in Michigan. I would certainly appreciate your thoughts and Prayers.....

Shirley will be in my prayers. Please update us when you can.
Lord I ask that you to lift Shirley up with you great mercy and love. Be with her family, comfort them as only you can. I ask that you send a army of angels to watch over her and her family. I ask all these things in your heavenly name,
AMEN

Shirley should be going home this evening or Friday. Prior to the Pathologist report, the Dr. commented that the portion of the lung removed gave a visual indication of the cancer being localized. The Pathologist confirmed this today. I suspect there will still be chemo but they are going to wait 3 weeks or so before the treatment is discussed. I appreciate all the thoughts and prayers here, it seems they were answered.

Awesome! It's great to hear good news!
Adios,
That is outstanding! The doctor that broke the news of lung cancer to my brother in law was very shaken by the xray. He went through surgery and chemo and is in great health three years later.
Thank God it was localized. Very good news for your family.

Shirley is still with us and doing pretty good. Thank you for lifting her up in prayer. My brother revealed to me today that Shirley has been living in constant pain due to the surgery and chemo. It's my thought that neither one of them wanted to complain but he shared this and asked for prayer. Once again, prayers would be appreciated.
Thank you so much!
In Him.
