I need help on diagnostics on my bike please. Email me if you can help me, and I can figure out some thing to compensate for your time.
I have a 96' suzuki GS500E model bike.
Trouble is that it won't turn over. Battery has 11.94v/ 1.48a and I get the oil light and neutral light on the dash. Pressed the start button and nothing happens!
:-(  :angryfir:
I'm out of options to do!!!! Please someone help me in person!?

What's the meter show when you press the Start button? Does it drop? How much?
Did this start happening all of a sudden?
Have you shot some WD-40 in and around the starter switch?
Does it have a kickstand switch? Have you shot it with WD-40 and moved it back and forth?
Have you tried starting it with jumper cables hooked up to a car?
You say you're out of options but you didn't tell us what you did try to do. That would be helpful?

On my Suzuki, I have to have the clutch lever in. That means there is a kill switch there, too. If yours is similar, a squirt of WD-40 on that switch may help.
Fuses? Starter relay? Clutch disconnect plug on the clutch lever?

Just remember, if you use jumper cables from a car to jump it, do not have the car running when you have them connected to the bike. It might not be a good thing.
All the things they mention are good to check. Clutch switch, kill switch, battery terminals, kickstand switch, put the bike in neutral. etc...
Good luck.

There is only ONE fuse on those bikes hehe.
When you thumb the starter, does the headlight go out?
Adios,

WELL, RUN BUTTON TURNED ON, KEY TO ON, BIKE ON CENTERSTAND AND:
NO LIGHTS, TURN SIGNALS, OR THE STARTER TURNING OVER.
NEW STARTER RELAY, COILS
I DON'T KNOW HOW TO TEST RECTIFIER OR IGNITOR
BATTERY HAS 11.94V/ AND 1.48A
MOTOR DOES WANT TO TURN OVER WHEN JUMPING THE RELAY POSTS WITH A SCREWDRIVER (BUT DON'T WANT TO DO THAT ) AND THE POWER OF THE MOTOR WAS VERY WEAK
WILL TRY THE WD40 TRICK ON THE SWITCHES IN AN 1/2 HR.OR SO.
