Mexico Hotel Recommendations?

In early December I'll be departing Houston and heading to Mazatlan. I'll be crossing at Reynosa. Can some experienced TWTexans recommend some motorcycle friendly and cheap hotels in the following cities?

Monterrey

Saltillo

Torreon

Durango

Also, if any TWTexans have recommnedation for places to stay between Maztlan and Puerto Vallarta, preferably small towns ont he beach? I've already got Seyulita (SP?) on the itenary.

I have often stayed at the Colonial Alameda in Saltillo. It's just a couple blocks from the historic center of town and only one block from the park. I have stayed there 3 or 4 times. $50usd for big, clean rooms and secure courtyard parking.
