Not sure of a date yet. Will be camping there if weather is good. This may be a trip made during the work week as I am having some mods done by Cycle Gadgets and they will closed on Saturdays for winter hours. My mods will be pre ordered but my bike will be in their shop for one day.
Most weekends will hopefully be spent with my daughter and we will try and do a Broken Bow camping trip as well for me to test out some new gear needed for a summer trip.
I am going with a Zumo 550 and some PIIA lights as well as changing the stock headlight bulbs. I am looking into the Bluetooth helmet set up as well . When you are gone this much, you have to get everything done when you can and plan it in advance.
Hopefully I can make this happen.Somehow, Iraq keeps changing my plans.
Ride safe.Pray often.

Ken, does CycleGadgets handle the Camos bluetooth or are you looking at Nolan or something else? Are you integrating radio or mp3?

They carry J and M,Camos,Scala rider, and I am looking at Nolan as well. This is what I want. I want to get on my bike and be able to talk to my passenger, listen to my ipod, make a call ,zumo 550 with as little Problem as possible.I am open to suggestions concerning all of this equipment. I am ordering two new nolan helmets before i get home and may just go with their blue tooth........Help......this is hard to do from here.....I am not a wrench turner and even worse with electronics. I was thinking that going there would be the easiest way to get all that I want in one stop.
I sure miss you guys. Tami and I had much fun with you and the MRS.

Tex,
I'm hearing from the FJR board that the Camos set-up offers a stereo dongle that makes a ton of difference in the music play-through. I'm hoping for much of what you describe: zumo, phone, radar detector, XM and intercom. The BTS 300 looks pretty good.
I can't get away for a Eureka Springs trip right now, but there's a Camos dealer in Dallas and I'm considering a Saturday ride in to look at the system.
I was tempted by the Nolan but I don't know much about their stereo feed.

tex,
i have the zumo 550, and use camos bhs-500 bluetooth headset with the wiRevo bluetooth dongle. works really well once setup and you figure out the quirks.
Quirks.
1. let the zumo control the volume (always make sure the volume is at the max on the dongle and the headset)
2. only use the bluetooth on the zumo to communicate with your phone.
3. power on the camos before powering on wiRevo, otherwise both channels on the camos connect to the stereo on the wiRevo.
4. it is annoying that you have to switch channels on the camos to analog for phone, but you get use to it.
But once setup it works like a champ. i can hear music to close to 100 (if i want don't travel at that as a constant speed :)). and invest in some good audio cables to connect the zumo to the wiRevo. i bought mine from scooter shop out in california one of benchmark's recommend online distributors. the bmw in dallas who is listed as a dealer had NOTHING in stock fyi...
