A close inspection of my drive chain yesterday showed that it's not long for this world. No problem there; I've already got a new one, but finding new sprockets isn't so easy. Sprocket Specialists has the correct countershaft sprocket, but they don't have the steel rear sprocket I need and won't have any for another month at least. I could get one through one of the local dealerships, but a) they probably won't have it in stock, and b) it will likely be way over-priced. Wouldn't you know this would happen just before the Hill Country rally. :-?

Anybody know of another source for sprockets?

I bought my last set at Cycle Gear. They had the correct front sprocket the next day. Might be worth a shot.

Since that is where I found Scratch following me around again at lunch today, I dont think Cycle Gear has what he needs. ;-)

Thanks for the tip! 8-)

Got the sprockets on order, so now it's a matter of hoping that they will arrive in time to do the swap prior to leaving for the rally.
