Saw a post here about "Faster". Are there any other asphalt racing videos you guys like?

I also recently saw Dust 2 Glory and would be interested in a docu on Baja 1000 or something similar. Pretty extreme stuff.

Get the second, two-disk version of 'Faster'...the additional footage isn't as good as the original documentary, but it is still worth the price! I have yet to see anything that compares...

+1 I have the original faster, and then I also bought the 2 disc set (I wanted the additional footage.)

Its good stuff.

+2 on the "Faster" Recommendation. I got the early edition and then got the 2-disk set when it finally came out. I watch it all the time on the plane when I travel. I love to watch how people (especially kids) start watching it over my shoulder.

As a 2nd, I really love the original, Any Given Sunday. Even 30+ years old, its still a great movie.

J/K, and yes, the two disc edition of faster is that bomb, I can't remember how many times I've watch it, maybe like 20 or so.

I have the 2003 Isle of Man video. I've watched that at least 20 times now. After watching the Isle of Man track racing just seems down right boring. John McGuiness is my hero!!!

I'd modify that to, "After watching IOM, racing seems down right safe."

From the racer's standpoint, I'd never race there. It should be terminated. It's too dangerous and the death toll is too high. They've averaged killing nearly two riders per year for a century. The place is littered with roadside crosses. Racing should be left to race tracks, good moral there for the street squids, too. Keep your fast pace riding to the proper venue and ride safe on the street.

JMHO of course, but ending the IOM is long overdue. The FIM dumped it three and a half decades ago.

There's another street race vid from the land of the shamrocks called "The Northwest 200". It's crazy, like the IOM, 4 mile straights where the superbikes scream down them at over 200 mph, racing through a town. It had some of the best onboard video I've ever seen.
