Some spring pics from Galveston

While in Galveston this weekend I took the opportunity to snap some artsy fartsy pics, I plan on submitting one of these in the photo contest thread

Any and all critique / comments are welcome

All pics done on Nikon D40, with kit lens (18-55mm), some on auto and some playing with settings. No post processing, other than cropping one of them. The color on my monitor is jacked so I don't trust it.
