Anyone got a way to mount a D50 or D300?

I've been researching online how to mount my D300 to my bike. Anyone already done this?

Wow, that's a full sized DSLR body, right? What lens will be on it?

I use a RAM mount and a Bogen quick-release plate for a smaller Nikon that works well, but I haven't (nor do I plan) on my D40 mounted that way.
