We took a trip out to Bandera today and stopped in to talk to the rangers at Hill Country State Natural Area. It was a rough road riding in and the park is mostly geared to mountain biking and horse riding. They informed us of an upcoming free tent camping weekend that I thought I would pass along. Call for more details and to verify I didn't hear wrong.
