Hey, you want to stand apart from the crowd in your choice of two-wheeled transport? Try the GM/Segway PUMA -->

PUMA Linky

Click the arrows for a variety of pics.

Transportation for the mindless masses! Sweet. Does this mean they can get rid of those big empty buses here in Austin??

Looks like a wheel chair on steroids.
What is the point of balancing on two wheels? Put two fron caster like in a ride on lawn mower and forguet about feeding a gyroscope. I see the point on the original Segway but not on this. Get a Vespa.

 :ponder:

Yeah, I think I'll take a bike instead. either the pedal or powered variety.

The vehicles would automatically avoid obstacles such as pedestrians and other cars and therefore never crash, Burns said.

Probably they said the same when they put brakes on the horseless carriages

"At this point, it's merely a business decision," he said.
 Oh yeah, keep up the good work GM execs. here is your bonus

Just another piece-of-crap joke that isn't truly feasible or economical.

Pay $20,000-plus for a glorified wheelchair. Check! :thumb:

Charge for 20 hours. Check! :thumb:

Drive 20 miles. Check! :thumb:

Charge for 20 more hours. Check! :thumb:

Drive 20 more miles. Check! :thumb:

Replace the environmentally toxic L.I. battery pack every 2 years at a cost of $10,000. Check! :thumb:

Shoot yourself in the face because you're a tree-hugging moron. Check! :thumb:

That's "Therapists," not "The Rapists." Let's skip "Therapists" and try "Household Objects", for $400.

:lol2:

I'll take The ***** Mightier for $600

Oh, and that vehicle is stupid and just another example of how out of touch GM is with the public. Good job on the Chevy SS too GM. You suck.

I read about the stupid segwayGM and there article stated "zero emissions"??? Where do they think electricity comes from?

Wait wait wait. are you selling *****mightiers???

Oh and I just thought of a few more foreign ladies I've snobbed.

GM just doesn't get it anymore. While they think they can convince folks with these types press releases, teenagers and 20 somethings are still buying Hondas and the like. GM was on track with the Cobalt but never developed the needed interest and Chrysler never brought out the next Neon so the first generation of new buyers have gone to other marks.

Can I buy a clue
