I'm in Austin.
I'd like to take the passenger seat and plastic fender off my 01 Triumph Tiger and replace it with a metal pan/half-seat to give me a nice storage area below deck.
Has anyone done a project like this for a bike or car? I can find some donor metal, or buy some stock locally but I've never tried to shape anything new. I've just welded or smashed fenders/doors back into shape.
If you have, I'd like to swing by sometime to get a clue as to what I'm in for.
