I used the Tamron 18-270 vibration control lens for the first time at TAR 2009.

Here's a few of the pics I took with it. I did a minor bit of editing on a few of the pics and some cropping, but nothing major.

Overall, I've quite pleased with this lens. The limitation is in my skill as a photographer, not the lens.

Your skill looks just fine to me. Maybe add the rule of thirds to the program and it would work out.

They look great to me too. But I've always liked Tamron lenses.

Nothing a course in photography at a local college wouldn't cure.:lol2:
The best thing is you are actually using it. The worst camera and equipment to have are the one's that sit on the shelf and never get used.

Those are some sharp photos, looks like you have done well with choice.

I will also add that the photog has a pretty decent eye too... Well done!

I am diggin the Texas Star pic!
