bought a new bike over the weekend there. i'd been in there a few times the last couple of weeks to sit on some bikes (by the way, they have an ABS wee-strom on the floor there at the moment, can be hard to find) and everyone there was always very friendly.

went in early on saturday to do the paperwork on the bike and take it home, naturally its pouring rain, so i bring the truck. while waiting on them to get the bike ready i was over in parts picking up some tire irons, tubes, ordered the service manual, Chris the parts guy was very helpful.

my sales guy takes me around the back to help load the bike and they cant get the gas cap open. long story cut short, they took the gas cap off another bike, put it on mine, warrantied my gas cap and ignition (key worked in ignition, but not gas cap) and i was able to go riding on Sunday. They did what they had to do to make sure i got to take it home and have fun with it, rather than have to wait for the warranty stuff to come in.

all in all i couldnt be happier with the place, they've certainly earned my loyalty and they are a friendly bunch.

I bought my bike from them 3 1/2 years ago and they've been the best. I always get treated well when I go there and I walk around like I own the place. Super friendly and very helpful. I wish I lived closer or they were farther south.

I have yet to buy from them but I've sat on a lot of their bikes. I wish they had a used one that I can afford ($20 KLR maybe?) but they've always treated me well. I took the wife in there to see if she would be interested in a bike and the salesman took a lot of time explaining the good and the bad of each bike she sat on.

Since they've moved to their new location, it's a bit more of a drive and a little bit out of the way to get to but it's most definitely worth the extra few minutes to actually be help and not ignored. :thumb:

How can you tell us you bought a new bike and not say what kind of bike it is?

Inquiring minds want to know. (And see pictures!)

Been doing small business transactions with them for a while now. They are my first choice for tires, as they have always had the size and brand I wanted in stock. Because of the previous experience with good service and part, I bought my latest addition, a KLR, from them.

Definitely a good experience thus far.

Glad to hear about Central Texas Motorsports.. went there for the first time Sat. Seemed like a good place. Woods fun center leaves me less than satisfied. When I was Wing shopping, my salesman kept running off to talk to the manager every time I asked a price question. Then the "drive out" price I was asking about turned out not to be on a return visit.. so I never went back. Now I'm looking for a Connie w/ ABS.

I order parts from them over the phone and have them shipped here to Temple. They have been very fast and friendly.

They have a very large selection of riding gear as well. I bought a jacket there not long ago as they were only $20 higher than the best internet price I found.

If I was going to complain about the "new and improved" Central Texas Powersports......it'd be about them adding bicycles to their inventory. To me, they just take up too much floor space where there could be move motorcycles. But, I don't own the place so I can't tell them what to have in their inventory.
