Anyone know of camping area(s) near Fort Chadbourne (closer than San Angelo and Abilene)?

I lived in Abilene for a long time....used to go camping at Oak Creek Reservoir in Blackwell. We used the primitive camp sites. I think they have a website...just google it.

Either sound familiar?

I remember seeing the Sportsman's Lodge. Never stayed there though. Always camped at the primitive sites. It's been at least ten years since I've been there.
